ICICI Amazon Pay Credit Card is not only good if you want to shop on Amazon but is also good for other transaction.
I will share where you should use this Credit Card and where you should avoid using Amazon Pay ICICI Credit Card. In my opinion this is the “THE BEST FREE CREDIT CARD” currently in India. (Do let me know your thoughts in the comment.)
- Fees: No Joining fees. No Annul fees (The best part)
- Joining Bonus: Rs.500 Amazon Pay Balance for Amazon Prime member, Rs. 400 for non prime member. Join Prime
- No Cost EMI: Though you won’t get any cashback but it can be helpful if you want to purchase any product on No Cost EMI on Amazon. There are lot of Product who have No Cost EMI only on Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Card.
- No need to redeem Reward: In Amazon ICICI pay credit card all rewards are Credited in form of Amazon Pay Cashback in your Amazon Pay Account within 2 days after the Statement is generated. So now no worries of redeeming rewards
- Cashback on loading Wallet: So if you add money to any wallets (Paytm, Mobikwik, Freecharge etc) you will get 1% cashback. And 1% cashback is good cashback for wallet spent as many Credit Card Companies like Citibank, Axis Bank (from 12th April 2020 onward), HDFC Bank (except millennia credit card) don’t give any rewards for wallet loading transaction.
- Powered by Visa: Visa card have very very good acceptance in India unlike Diners and Amex. So when someone don’t accept your Amex or Diners cards you have your adequate backup credit card.
- No Capping on Cashback: This is one of the amazing good condition. Like there is no capping on maximum cashback, like many other co branded like Axis-Flipkart have.
- Other ICICI Bank Offer: Apart from cashback mention below ICICI Bank bring many exciting offer in festival session or when there is sale on Amazon
- Good Approval Ratio: Unlike Amex credit card this card don’t demand High Income, Having a good credit score or some existing relationship with ICICI Bank will help you to get this credit card easily.
- Availability: Amazon Pay ICICI Credit Card is available in Major Tier I, II, III Cities.
- Fuel surcharge: Fuel Surcharge waiver of 1% of transaction value on all petrol pumps. (You should Avoid using this credit card for fuel transaction as you won’t earn any reward)
- Cashback Ratio: 1-15% (Depending upon where you are the credit card.)

- Shopping on Amazon by Prime Member– 5%
- Shopping on Amazon by Non-Prime Member– 3% (Prime member get 2% extra benefit on shopping- Join Prime)
- Recharge/Bill payment/movie tickets on BMS – 2%
- Other transaction – 1% You get cashback on transaction such as wallet reload, paying through POS (point of sale machine) You won’t get cashback on purchase of gold, fuel & EMI.

Tip for Card delivery issue: If due to any reason you are not able to get credit card (after approval) due to address issue, you can request the customer care executive to deliver the credit card at a ICICI Bank Branch. I had use the same option because my communication address had change.
